Alan Thomas I am based near Abergavenny, South Wales. Abergavenny is situated on the south-east boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park, so I can be found regularly riding in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. As well as my SMBLA certification, I have plenty of outdoor experience with a background in climbing and mountaineering. I have ridden in various locations around the UK and I enjoy general cross country (XC) riding. I like riding uphill almost as much as the descents…..well almost. I am also continuing my development along the SMBLA pathway.
